QPSARA® 2009 Awards

Every year since 1982, the Institute of Internal Auditors has conducted the QPSARA® Annual Report Awards to encourage Queensland’s public sector agencies to adopt Australian Standards in their reporting.  The Awards have consistently attracted between 50-80 entries from Queensland public sector organisations.  

The aim of the QPSARA® Awards is to:
  • Recognise excellence in the quality of information provided in the annual reports of Queensland’s public sector organisations
  • Provide a focal point by which the IIA and other professional bodies may demonstrate their encouragement to improving the effectiveness, efficiency, equity and accountability of Queensland’s public sector agencies.

2009 QPSARA® Awards Evening

The 2009 QPSARA® Awards Evening will be held on Friday, 23rd April 2010 at the Tattersalls Club in Brisbane. This year the IIA welcomes BDO Kendalls as the Principal Sponsor of the Awards.

The Awards Evening is attended by over 100 representatives from Queensland pubic sector organisations, sponsoring organisations, guests and IIA representatives.  It commences with a short presentation by a special guest, followed by an overview and general feedback on the entries by the Chair of the judging panel.  The Principal Sponsor has an opportunity to speak briefly about their support for QPSARA® and the evening concludes with a cocktail reception.
